With a total investment of about 6.3 billion USD, the second phase of the Central Yunnan water supply project has been fully constructed

With a total investment of about 6.3 billion USD, the second phase of the Central Yunnan project has been fully constructed on end of August, 2022.

The total construction period of the second phase of the project is 70 months, and the total investment of the project is about 6.3 billion USD. After the completion of the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project, 3.4 billion cubic meters of high-quality water can be diverted each year, benefiting a land area of 37,000 square kilometers, which will solve the problem of uneven spatial distribution of water resources in Central Yunnan.
